dude, just go with a FACTORY Lexus LS400 BBK. I'm telling you, it is MORE THAN ENOUGH! Ask RAFFAELLI. He ought to tell you. Saved my ass from rearending a f-150 at the last second. thing is, you gotta run 16's.

Yea man, you need to do a search. This has been gone over plently.

Looks like a supra? mcpherson strut on a truck. I have a hard time seeing that work.

LS400 caliper and rotor on a truck spindle. Mounts kind easy...

One bolt does, the other has to be moved out like 3/4 of an inch. You can see from the picture viewing the back of the caliper.

Sick mod! Now if I could just find a LS400 in my local Pick N Pull... I'm definitely adding this to my list of parts to search for though. :waytogo:

so on the ls brakes .. how close is it on 15's? any way to MAKE it work?

    Oh and mind you ,

look at the prices / aftermarket parts out there ...

for the same price as the 400 ... you can get upgraded rotors and calipers

SOOOOOOOOooooooo many options with the ford front spindles

Ive run 15's on them before, they are CLOSE. Like maybe 1/8th of an inch. So they are depending of what wheels you have.

? I spent maybe 200 bucks on the LS400 stuff. Used rotors, calipers, lines, ect. Just needed some grade 8 bolts basically.

Running ford (what year?) spindles will give you more problems than you know. Ive found out that you can mount 94+ GT and Cobra brakes on a toyota spindle just like how I did the LS400 stuff. Thats one way around the problem your looking at...

so you have a pic. of the actual hole you had to make ?

they are duel piston so they aren't bad .... I just want to have options..

maybe make a caliper mounting bracket for the 4 piston Toyota calipers...

So how would the lexus brakes work for just a truck driving around town with big wheels? I don't need a preformance truck, but I want to make sure if something happens I can rely on being able to stop fast, and my 19s definitely put a lot of work on my factory breaks

    They will stop em.

If your want to be flashy, the LS460 and LS430 4 piston stuff could work too, but its just alot more money for parts.

But my guess is the money in parts will be greatly appreciated, it seems like i get a lot of dust on my wheels? i dont know if its normal, or if my brakes are wearing fast?
