I'm looking for a clutch kit for when I swap motors.. Hopefully not too long from now!

I'm looking for a good setup that can take the occasional light to light race (stupid civics need to be shown:waytogo:) but I don't want to spend a lotttt of money...

    I'm open to suggestions!

A heavy clutch set up runs around $300& I'd go with a light height flywheel @ the same time ,around the same!
I'm very partial to LC's products!!

I had my flywheel lightened already..

What do you mean by a heavy clutch? Like heavy duty or is it weight heavy? I'm guessing heavy duty..

    Yeah, heavy duty...

    They're usually rated in stages.

Stage 1: mild performance, daily driver status
Stage 2: medium performance, might suck in traffic?
Stage 3: heavy performance, mainly for racing, grabs hard, would suck to daily drive

Does anyone know how to determine what size clutch I need for my flywheel? I don't know what year it's off but it's going on a late 22r block.. They have one size for 81-88 and a different size for 89-95.. Are they interchangeable? If not how do I measure to figure it out?

I figured it out, the center ring on the flywheel is only 9 inches in diameter so a 9.25 inch clutch ain't gonna work :waytogo:

Act here but I got the 6 puck sprung one

it does a good job pedal feels stock to me

but buying a 22rte will do you just fine in less you plan to install some big power adders turbo ect

lce clutch are just re-branded junk they use cheap disks

I have scene these type fail so many times from the spring popping out the spring pocket are drilled them bent to hold the spring in

Nore do I like center force there weight system is just added weight that is just plain not needed plus there not the most smoothest clutch again because of the weights.

If ya get centerforce with out weight there good and they use high quilty disc's just like act

feels like stock. maybe a touch more sensitive, requires little bit more pressure but more accurate feel -if that makes sense. but i guess it basically feels like a new stock clutch  just more holding power.

    :waytogo:

it holds up fine. used and abused mine is. dragging at the strip, street racing, and daily driver. its been almost a year now of constant abuse. holding up fine.
