okay. i am getting belltechs lowering leafs and drop spindles. But i am not sure which shocks would be better to get. The street performance shocks seems to appear better for handling and performance, but would they still be fine with a dropped truck. Compared to the nitro drop 2 shocks which are made specifically for dropped trucks. opinions http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=BTSPSHK1&c=SU&year=1993&make=TOYOTA&model=PICKUP http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=BTND2SHK1&c=SU&year=1993&make=TOYOTA&model=PICKUP Also how do these compare... http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=BILSHOK01&c=SU&year=1993&make=TOYOTA&model=PICKUP http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=TOKTREK01&c=SU&year=1993&make=TOYOTA&model=PICKUP
I am in the same boat I wana do the lowering leafs but i want my truck to handle well Bilstein shocks are king I must say but again that's what i have used on my car and just love them but this si truck and not sure if made to hual dirt or rip around the block ?
If built right you can do both. My Drop leafs and air shocks allow for both. Handles well and will carry a load a load when needed.
Well you won't need shorter shocks for spindles or blocks, but the drop leafs would technically require them, even though you could get away with stock length.
i need a link to some air shocks for my 87. i just need a lil extra help when i haul my bike or a trailer.
