 I know a lot of minitruckers probably aren't too big into grammar and punctuation and whatnot, but that was pretty bad...

Yah man your battery is on its lips so it takes a bit for the alternator to recharge the battery and thats when everything is running smooth. Get a redtop or yellow top optima and depending on how many amps/watts your running on your system then maybe even a high out put alternator. In my 91 I am gonna have to run a high output and 2 batteries because collectivly there will be about 7 things pulling power from the battery besides the truck itself.

You need more electricals for your car. Remember that it takes power to make power. How many watts you running? Grab one or two more batteries and you should be good. Also caps are pretty useless.

^^ agree those Farad caps are a joke. Deep cycle batteries, maybe high out put alternator like I posted earlier should do the trick. Also you just mentioned your lights were on that prob drained your power escpecially if you bump your stereo without the truck running. Id say either way your battery is toast so go buy a new one. Also as mentioned before maybe an Optima red or yellow top and you'll be golden

Indeed. Also if you looking for one alt, you can swap in chevy alts. Forget what part number, but they are a direct fit.

I actually got your internet joke. I thought it was hilarious, but I quoted you where you quoted the OP who my post was really aimed at but whatever... That's what I get for being a smartass I guess.
I think you may have mis-spoke a bit there, as far as I know there isn't a direct fit Chevy one wire alt but there are ways to bolt one on that are *almost* a direct bolt in.
