alright well im lookin to bag my truck, but this will be my first bagged truck so i dont know too much about airbags n what parts i need, i found this on ebay and wanna know if these are good, bad, okay and what other parts i would need http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Air-...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
thats aim industries. there only about 10 min. away from you. maybe call and see if they'll sell you the kit outright so you don't have to pay shipping.
to get there (from dobson and the 60) go to broadway rd. go east past center st. turn left on hibbert. its a big ass white building. they give tours if you ask, its a pretty cool place. i also pretty much bought the same kit but upgraded to a bigger tank, better bags and a better switch box. i paid just under $800 after tax. and that didn't include brackets or a 4 link. so i think it's a pretty good deal.
Go with Slam bags if all possible...same price as other bags but more lift and they collapse better, plus better mounting options as far as holes available. At least compared to Conitechs or Firestone.
PICS these are the rims it came with there 15's but i think im gonna put 18 cuz i cant tell how fast im going with the 15 and theyer running the miles on the odometer
LOL, it happens!! Probably just loosen the bolts and slide em around. That's a pretty straight lookin' truck for 134k on it.
straight except for the body lines on the bed being bout 5% off from the ones on the cab... but i say u go bagged on 20s! lol
ur bed is higher than ur cabs... look at ur truck from a profile (side view) n ull see that the "dip" that goes from the fenders to the end of the bed... where the cab ends n bed starts, the bed's is higher.. idk y, cuz i doubt they bodydropped ur truck
Actually it looks like one side is higher than the other, like the driver is higher than the pass side, maybe tighten up bolts? Hey are those 12's mtx small, because its hard to fit something big in there... pics? Did you buy the white gauge or was it like that already, im looking for one just like it. Sick truck tho, what happen to the black wheels?
The mtx's are big but my dads a carpenter so im gonna have him make me a box thatll fit some where. i had some drawings i did to fit the them on the bench seat, ill scan'em and put them on here so you can see what im talking about, or i might get some bucket seats off a car and work from there with the speakers ill post up pics in a bit
oh and i still have the black rims its just that i only had two last night and had to pick up the other 2 today im gonna put them on today maybe gotta buy new lug nuts though
I like the wheels, they look GREAT. other than that, the front bumper/ valance setup looks pretty good! I love it! especially for a regular cab. Lovin the truck, keep it clean!
