What do you guys think of this? How many of you have a DD that is on bags..just looking for some pros and cons..I am not thinking of anything radical, just something to lay it down when i park and with some decent speed, I was in a bagged s10 once and the ride actually seemed softer almost cadillac like haha ride quality is also an issue being its a DD..what are your thoughts?

as long as you set it up right, and run the lines properly, you shouldn't have an issue having a bagged daily. until your in a rush and have to wait for it to air up:)

i generally think of nitrogen for the guys that like to hop. but i've seen some guys run a small nitrogen bottle for situations when their in a rush, of if there is a problem with the compressors.

its just a compressed gas that can be used to air up the bags. but if you want a truck to hop (a lot) nitrogen works well, since the bottle is usually charged over 2,000psi. then u can regulate it down to 300 or so and have the truck fly like a bird. it takes it toll on the bags though.

it just depends on what you want. its better than straight air since its pure.

if your not using max pressure from the nitro i think it would be ok on the bags.and also being there is no moisture your system might have a longer life..but it could be pain to constantly take out the tank and have it filled not to mention expensive...last i checked it was about $20-$30 to have filled

Nitrogen also helps prevent some leakages because the molecules are bigger, Costco uses it on their tires they install, my BFG's are Nitroed. sorry to thread jack.

    I drive my truck @ lest 3 times a week,no problems.
Plan & set up all to prevent any problems: valve manifolds close to bags, good fittings( not water fittings), run check valves,so no loss of air from bags, etc.
Also correct electrical set up,so no fires!

I run duel 380's, in the process now of adding a 2nd tank, same as 1st,stainless 5 gal.
I don't play, just wanted moire air supply,& a added look @the bed!
Don't like steel tanks as a rust problem/ condiments is present in time. The stainless tanks don't come with a drain( don't know way not) so added to both tanks,as even with water traps ,water will get there!
