How did you guys run your exhaust under the cab. Cause it hangs below the frame.

 

i just tucked mine closer to the cab and heat wrapped the exhaust under the cab to keep heat transfer down. i have a flowmaster 40series so its smaller then the stock one.

 

Ya I went to an exhaust shop an he said he cudnt move it much cause of the sensor

 

oh i have straight pipe no cat. in hawaii we dnt have smog thats why..maybe extend the cat or shoten it to an area that has space? idk.

 

have the pipe tucked and the O2 relocated to a different angle. have another bung welded in for a O2 in a flat position so you can bring it up closer.

 

Very good idea I might have to have one of my buddys do it he works at dentonis an my other buddy has a shop

 

Header clearance?

I know that with my 4cyl Tacoma the exhaust manifold hangs below the frame. This is another thing with the exhaust to watch out for. I almost bought an LCEngineering header (this is my Tacoma) but I would have to cut and section it to make it work with bags.

 

No the exhaust hangs below the frame about an inch an a half to 2 inches

 

But which header clears for laying frame? Is it Doug Thorley?

Don't get a pace setter header. They are tall. Hangs a couple inches below frame level on mine.

 

Every piece is up tight into the frame ,all removal,ceramic coated,header are LC stainless,as is the cat,muffler is a Borla stainless & tips are stainless ,all pipe is 2"( not stainless)!

 

Dude your whole undercarriage looks so nice and clean
