The end goal for my truck has been decided. Now I just need to know it works. Ultimately I want to swap a 2JZ-GTE and transmission for the power plant but I'm also wanting to bag it. Obviously a body drop is in place. I just don't know how much more work is involved with the new motor and tranny. Every swap I see is riding on normal suspension. I was able to check out the truck featured in Mini Truckin and it stated at the time it was the only bagged and swapped truck which leads me to believe its a really tough thing to achieve.

At first I wanted to lay frame, but if the motor and oil pan is too big than I'm okay with getting as close to the ground as possible.

What should be my Maine concerns while piecing this together? Should I do the engine and tranny first and build the suspension around that?

    Any input is helpful. Thanks!

Body drop shouldn't be a problem at all. There are a few bodied yotas with a 2jz

I would definitely suggest putting the motor in first. Then you can work around it to lower the truck, cuz things are going to change with a different motor and trans sitting in place.:waytogo:
