A little test and tune on our test track this afternoon.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-A-uuOXmXLA
Looks awesome. Are you planning on upping the front shocks some ?... seemed to bounce a bit much I would think.
We are in a limited class....and shocks are limited to "over the counter" shocks...which is sort of lame, but helps keep the cost down I suppose. I can't remember if I had some pics on here or not... I stole this from my build thread on another site: Here goes, this started in January 2009, im building a truck to compete in the mini truck class at Kamloops Offroad Racing, as well as a few Desert races. Here it is: The cage is tight against the roof and pretty much anywhere it can, it should work good. Well ive been picking away at this thing, and it finally looks like something... The Big Country Customs parts train arrived last night! www.bigcountrycustoms.com Thanks Taran for your mad parts ordering skillz....
Epoxy primer.......it will stay this color for a while as I panic to get it reassembled for the first race.  Sometimes owning cool equipment has its advantages: A little test jump on my private test track: Wow busy hot summer, heres some final updates to this project, its actually got shiny paint, I shot it with some Omni urethane through a sweet princess auto gun. I actually finished something...lol Here it is before the race, Thanks to Taran at Big Country Customs for making this thing happen! Holy ****balls its fun.... whooops A video of the flop race: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ki1LdyQKuX0
I started out doing really well, all the time tuning the truck between events was paying off. I won the first race...but then realized I passed on a yellow, but both of us were still racing. 2nd heat I got 3rd, good racing. Main, I went for the holeshot and well......... Thanks guys! If anyone tells you OEM toyota suspension is weak....they are talking out of their asses...this thing runs all oem ball joints, and lower control arms.
lmfao, OEM Toyota Suspension is NOT weak... they kill firehydrants! Nice racing, and I'm sorry your truck toppled!
