Hello everyone, Im happy to say I am back in the game. I grew up minitruckin. My 1st ride was a 77 Datsun pickup. I had wanted a new Toyota but couldn't afford one. Times have changes, the mullett is gone and I finally have a 1993 Toyota Std cab pickup 2wd. I plan to build this truck as I wished I could have back in the day. We'll see how it goes. This is a great site for info and tech that I'm sure I will need in this build.
I'm looking to have a good daily driver. I have had lowrider type vehicles all my life so driving something slammed year round isn't an issue for me. It snows here in Bend over the winter and I can drive my wife's jeep if it gets too bad. I want to have it static slammed for now and possibly do like what you did with a nice bag and body drop set up. I've ordered 2" spindles and will order 3" lca's for the front and have ordered 3" drop leaves for the rear. I'll put an angled 4" block in back to finish that up. I will also get a "c" notch for the rear as well. I've scored some nice 4x4 fenders, markers and a new chrome grill. I still have to get a nice chrome 4x4 bumper/valance combo. The interior is all stock and I've added dash clock and replaced a few broken or cracked pieces from a wrecking yard. The hard part right now is deciding on what direction to take it as far a style. I'm digging the drift/Hella flush style with stretched tires but also remember the clean builds of the late 90's with 18's ND a smooth, clean body....it's tough.
