    I assume if it came with instructions, it would show you how to wire...


    our delimma would probably be finding vehicle speed.

    That's not what I mean. A lot of these require a special in-line box to convert our speedo signal to one compatible with the speedo. I was wondering if anyone knew which one. I've emailed autometer directly... They said the gauge auto-calibrates to our system. So, I guess all I need is the gauge.

    I did. They said all that I needed was the gauge...

    What year is your truck & is it a auto ,or manual trans??
    I run Auto meter's manual Phantom gauges, & the correct senders,the speedo is electric & I have a 5 speed. Got a speedo drive that goes right on the trans from another company!
    I would run the matching gauge for oil pressure & water temp., as you should keep an eye on those!! :cool:

    yeah, the speedo doesn't require a sender because it auto-calibrates.
