    Lucky,

I just took (3) pics of my stock throttle linkage pics (modified slightly) to fit my weber 32/36 on my 82, I hope this helps you out. I did not install it so these pics is all I have to help you out, but they say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I hope it works out for you.

I have never had any problems with it, the weber runs like a champ, my stock carb took a major dump.

    Have a good weekend
    Pete

also, do you have any photos where the U-shaped bracket is mounted to the weber? i might just go with a weber after all...

Yea, that's what I was wondering myself, is there something there stock to keep that end of the linkage from popping out? Is there a stock clip or something there?

Theres supposed to be some kinda clip i believe. A wire tie should work. Ive seen a paperclip used and it worked

went thru my parts last night and found the clip. Like a double U clip. I'll post a pic of the whole linkage put together later when I'm done.

Here's some pics from my setup today. Works great, the clip on the swing arm is just a push pin, probably find one at the hardware store easy.
