if you have a 88-89 4Runner or a 88 toyota pickup, and have power windows, i need to see a shot of these window switches. trying to find a replacement set but have no idea what they look like and are the only thing preveting me from installing my powered doors on the truck :(

if anyone has a spare switch panel i'd gladly pick it up from someone as well :D

this is the type of door panel they come on........ its a "contour" type not the "flat" one............

    the passengers side.
You will need the the circuit breaker that attaches to the fuse panel under the kick panel & the door control relay. I got all @ the wrecker, try Tap Recycling.
Also worth having is the 1988 (or one for your year truck),Truck & 4 Runner, electrical wiring diagram ,part #EWDO40U,GET FROM THE DEALER book:cool:

ok cool. i luckily found one at the local yard and another on marlin crawler boards. ill pick up a spare since they seem to be as rare as rare can be. i also picked up spare switches for the passenger side off a camry within the same year. i also found that the early toyota vans have the "flat" type control switches that some people need so i picked up spares of those as well. :D

my friend test fitted a power window setup from the 89-94 4runner on to his 89-94 toyota pick up but the only problem he had was that his window couldnt go all the way down...im not sure if he installed it correctly or what but thats what he told me

so your saying that the regulators from the 89-94 4runner will be able to fit in the 84-88 toyota pick ups???? your the first who i herd this from. if thats the case i should look for a 89-94 4runner and get the parts from it....

my parts 4runner i bought has contoured power windows

    a sunroof

    oh and a turbo

    400 dollars well spent:nana:

as for the flat style door panes, if you ever look at a 82-85 celica with power windows im sure you could adapt the switches onto the flat truck panel seeing as the 82-85 celica and 82-86 supra have flat paneled type doors
