Anyone know what this does?

    It was under my ac compressor and was connected to the under side of my air cleaner.

    It's an air pump. In order to meet the sniffer tail pipe emissions test they pumped fresh air into the exhaust manifold to dilute the exhaust gases.

    You know I did search google but it didn't come up with much. Thing is I totally overlooked the numbers on black and only searched the numbers on the white side.

    We don't have emissions tests here where I live. I guess I can do without it. I'll probably just cap off the intake line.
