So I have been thinking about making a shift to a career in law enforcement. My local towns and counties have positions available. I have always thought about something where I can give back and help the community. As well as provide a healthy opinion of police from the "car guy" side of things. So I am wondering if anybody here serves as an officer anywhere. What advise do you have? What things are ways to advance better than the other guys? What was your least/most favorite thing? I am 25, in great shape and single. I have always done construction and mechanical work. I am wanting something more permanent and year round. So what so you guys think?
