antifreeze smell from heater

    I notice last winter, well we didn't have one really, but when I ran the heater, I could smell antifreeze. It would also instantly fog up the windows. Any help on the cause of this would be greatly appreciated.

    heater core is leaking for sure

    80 STD SR5 LB, bagged! The new whip!
    Yah if its foggin your windows and you can blatantly smell it your heater core is trashed, DONT let it get so bad it starts leaking into the truck and get coolant all over your carpet That really sucks

    That's what I suspected. I know what I'll be doing this weekend. So glad it's cooled off here. Thanks.
