I am a custom bike builder in Vegas. I have decided to buy a Toyota and customize it like my bikes and use it to pimp the products at tradeshows and local gatherings. Might even build a bike to match the truck and drive them together to car shows, etc. Not going to slam the truck or do crazy engine mods, but want to black out the truck in flat and gloss black, with powdercoated rims and some very nice pin-striping. Hoping to make a badass truck to rock around town in...

Shopping for a truck now, and hope to get a mid-80's or early 90's soon and start the process!

Welcome to the site! Sounds like a cool project that you have planned. I agree with the older the better idea. As you can tell, I'm quite partial to the '79-'83 body style. Bought my truck brand new in Nov 1981 when I was still in HS. It's still a GREAT truck to this day.
