well, i used toyota reference, and used "measurements" from the 4runner doors to get the same size for the rear door on the pickup. by measurements, i just drew a straight line the size of the rear door on the 4runner, copied and pasted it, and then went off that line to get the door size. i also used the shape of the back of the rear window of the xtra cab for the back part of the window on the back door. man my cousin's guy needs to deliver my 4runner to my parents house so i can go over there and start working on my truck. boredom sucks!!!
my only issue would be if a 3wheeler would still fit in the back or not. i like the way it looks though. wonder how hard it would be to do with my existing truck and some 4runner parts? lots of metal work in that though.
i have seen builds of guys making their own 4 doors. if i recall the simplest way looked to be splitting a standard cab truck right through the door, and using the back of the cab, and the back section of the door on the back of a 4runner. to remove the 4runner from having a wheel arch to the back doors and an angle at the top of it. as for the glass, i cant recall what he did. it would be ALOT of metal work though. could be easier in the long run to have a cab shipped over. unless youre really good at metal fab and your time isnt worth anything to you. and i doubt anything similar to a 3/4 wheeler or a dirtbike would fit in the back, atleast not with the gate up. i couldnt even fit a crotch rocket in the back of a shortbed 92 without either turning it crooked or leaving the gate open.
