    Hello all

I actually do not have a truck currently but I'm actively looking for one (89-93 or so) what better place to learn about them then to join a forum like this.

I'm 38 and from South Central LA so I was around during Mini truck madness (and I mean Maddness) I always had a soft spot for them.

Now that I don't see them anymore and in need of a something with a bed thats small and get good gas mileage the Toyota is the mini of choice, although I'm open to a Nissan hard body. I wish though to go the original mini truckin style, you know lowered on some 17x9 Enkei racers with a stretch (no poke) or some newer Centerline Stars of the same size.

Is anyone still doing the old school style? I see whole lot of bagged body on ground stuff...

    Welcome to TM!

My '93 is currently running a 2/3 drop with 18's. I do plan on bagging it in the future, was originally gonna stay with the static drop just lower.

Thanks guys, I think the hard part will be finding the Enkei wheels their old school now but boy do I like'em. I've been looking on Craigslist and and Ebay for some used ones and so far nothing. I found one guy on ebay selling some but only two.
Question, whats a static drop, is it your conventional drop i.e. springs, leaf, spindles etc ?

Yep. I have 2" drop spindles, 3" blocks, and drop shocks.

What do the Enkie wheels you're looking for look like?

Welcome to toyata minis. You have the right idea what a static drop is.

Where are you located?? If you are close to Vegas, check our Craigslist. Type in Toyota truck, our housing market got destroyed, so all the out of work laborers are selling off there old work trucks. That is where mine came from. $850.00 and no rust out here

Good looking out, I'm in the Sacramento area well I should say closer to Napa. I would be nothing for me to swing out to Las Vegas if the deal is right.

Oh and still looking for a picture of the wheel, sheesh I didn't realize it would be this difficult to fine one, anywho its the Enkei EK 30/32 wheel.

Ok this is the closest I can find its the same style but the face of the Enkei rim is flat and not pulled in a concave way as shown, but this kinda gives you the idea and many of you may remember the wheel.
