In a month or so I'm buying a set of 20's for the mini. Boss 328 black 20 x 8.5 with a +38 offset 6.18 backspacing. I assume these will be ok offset wise, but am wanting other opinions as I dont want to run into problems. Truck will be Z'ed soon and has 4x4 front. The 18's i have now are +40 7.5 wide and sit in a bit and rub a little @ full lock wich is more than stock as I cut off the steering stops for bags(and didn't need to. lol ) Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Yeah those are BOSS! hahaha!

....but yeah. I think that offset will work. I bought +42mm offset and then added 25.4mm spacers effectively making them +17 or so. My rears are +20mm 9.5"

When I bought them, the retailer told me that everyone runs a +42mm, but when I installed the fronts, they were way too far in, especially running the 4x4 fenders.

350Z rear 18x8.5 with +30 offset would be your comparison.

So unfortunately I cant get those 20's after all (long story) Manufacturer out of stock, finish issues, and no answers etc... Now I'm looking at some TSW vortex's which I will powdercoat black as they arent available in black.

Anyhow... these are 20x8.5 also but have a 40mm offset. My understanding is the higher offset sets the wheels back in the wells more, so, ideally I would want lesser of an offset like 30 ish right?I dont want to run spacers either. They come in a 20mm offset too it looks like.Any help is greatly appreciated again guys. Thanks.

Im gonna run a 18x8 with a +42mm. I ran that by Steve at Cando or what used to be Cando and he said +42s should tuck nicely.

Those will be sucked in pretty far. Litneon bought same offset and runs spacers. I bought mine today. +20 OFFSET 20x 8.5 $1200 plus I gotta powdercoat 'em and buy tires. Yikes!

You didnt BUILD your truck around 20"s bro. Im tubbing my firewall as well as ordered low offset wheels and wont have a strutrod soon enough... There is plenty of bagged and bodied yotas rolling around with no issues on 20"s.

So I picked these up in the 20mm offset and I think they are way to close to the fender in the front. the rims alone touch the fender half turned unless i'm at full lift. Gonna have to swap em out for 40mm i guess. So frustrated right now, thought I'd get more answers on here. Since litneon had a higher offset than me I figured I was in the safe zone. Also I think 40mm will get me less than an inch more so I dunno. Any ideas?
