No knowledge of that, but I will tell you that I've been told that the brass radiators dissipate heat faster and that the 3vze radiator is a three core. So if you are worried about heat with a 22re, you should be able to swap to the V6 rad. It should bolt right up (if I'm remembering correctly.)
I just bought one on sale from the same seller on ebay for 170 shipped to my door. I think the only reason its so cheap is because the welds are a bit on the ugly side, but considering LC engineering sells a similar radiator for $400 I think its well worth the price. I think im going to powercoat it though.
Probably not a good idea- the powder coating, that is. I believe that it would have a tendency to trap heat. On a moderately stock 22re this might not be too big a problem though because they don't tend to overheat easily. Just be careful.
I just put it in tonight, fits like a glove and my flex a lite black magic fan bolted right up. I opted to smooth the welds with a scotchbrite disk and paint the top and sides of the radiator, looks bad ass and slightly better temps... not like I really needed it. ill try to get off my lazy butt and post a pic in the next few days here
Not exactly the clearest pic but you get the idea. <br> I think its time I invest in a billet overflow and maybe even the windshield washer thing too.
i checked that guys seller info and he has sold alot of those, thats the lowest price ive seen on an all alum.. LC eng. wants over 400 for one
hey trap what did u type on ebay to see radiator , i typed radiator for 22re and says item not found?
type in toyota pickup radiator.. you can get this rad for 108 buy it now 130 or 160 buy it now from diff sellers.. they all look similar im trying to figure which I should buy
does anyone have a pic of the ugly welds? if i got one i could always grind off the ugly welds and run full tig welds. I'm assuming that they mig weld them and thats the reason why they look nasty.
I FOUND IT!!!!!!!!!!!! but same as v8 titan dont know witch one to buy? u know that u click on the pic to enlarge it, some radiator have bad weld and others look ok .but diffrent brand ,i want one i dont have to modifie to fit. so trap witch one did u get?
So I sprung a small leak in my aluminum radiator. I contacted the ebay seller and after a quick phone call today, I have a replacement complete with tracking number sent out the same day. heres a updated link to the listing. http://cgi.ebay.com/TOYOTA-PICKUP-4...emQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item2a02cfe3f0
