how low can you go on the torsions of a 79-83 longbed without having issues with alignment. i dont really have the time to do a full suspension swap as of late work and school killing free time. and on a side note does anybody know what the drop on a 4wd spring under axle would give me?

3" before bump steer becomes an issue, but misalignment kits for the tierods do exist, or converting over to heims makes this way safer.

4xd and 2wd springs are so similar that I don't see a reason to do this. BUT there are one ton springs that have longer lower leaf that I do highly suggest. (84-88 1ton) So when you go low you have a stiffer/sportier ride along with still having decent carrying capacity.
