Has anyone used an aftermarket tailgate? I have the common cancer spots towards the bottom of the tailgate. Before I have the bed Line X'd, I sure would like to get a tailgate but, I've heard that they don't fit right and the lines don't look so good. What company or vendor would be suitable?
I got one from Levan Auto Parts in Houston... Definatly chinese. Seams line up well enough, but the hinges were welded on shatty and have since broken welds from when I put a heavy load on the tailgate. Still closes and works, but shakes around when its not latched. Get what you pay for I guess.
Junkyard I thought of that and have visited a few. They all have some kind of conditional issues. I don't really have time to frequent junk yards.
