Yah I was gonna say 80-100lbs those things need to be TIGHT, also after a hundo or so miles re-tighten them kinda like putting brand new rims on your ride you gotta let the bolts seat for a while then re-tourqe.

Naw cut em. I don't recommend using washers to take slack out just cut the extra bout an inch or more from the nut.

If you're axle pads are narrower than the open end on the top of the blocks, be careful they dont start to move. It will crack the blocks and then you'll really wish you hadn't done that. Lol. I broke 2 sets of DJM 4" angles on my 78 when it had a stock motor. Get those ubolts as tight as you can. Lots of loctite helps. And feel free to trim off the extra ubolt length. They come long so they can reach past all sorts of leaf packs and still fit.

This is the result of ****ty and/or loose ubolts. I ended up cutting up 2 sets and running a 6" bolt through them and the leafs. Had a 4wd shop bend me up custom ubolts that were alot burlier than the block kit ones. Haven't had issues since. Hell, my ubolts have put little dents in my frame and they are still going strong
