ive been looking at this and really like it but the question i got is how are you guys getting the dashboards to a nice slick finish without the lizzard skin look ive tried one way with sanding but honestly im glad i did it on the kickpanels cause it ended up taking forever and well didnt turn out all that nice but anyways another way ive thought of is good ol bondo but like i said ive just done the sanding technic and dont wana fubar another panel my junkyard is thining out on my parts but just wondered if someone has done this and got good results post a pic and how you did it plz i really like this and would like to do it thanx for the help
if your wanting a smooth dash. try to find a fiber glass one like they do some sub boxes. it might be expensive way to do it though. but it would have the smooth finish your wanting.
For the plastic panels use a DA sander and start with 180 grit, 220, 320....etc. Then use filler primer, sand, prime, sand prime, paint. For the dash. Rip off the vynil crap its covered in leave as much foam as possible then start fiberglassing
