    Hello all,

I inherited this well-worn 1994 Yota from my dad. He wasn't driving it and I needed something better on gas than my new 5.0L. So far I have replaced the tires and windshield and have purchased a new clutch kit and flywheel (OE with 277K!). The bench seat is thoroughly thrashed. Though about a cover but all the Vatozone ones are for large bench seats. Also, I would like to get some reverse moons and maybe a Grant steering wheel for it. It still runs good and gets 30+ mpg so I definitely want to get as much use out of it as possible. So if anyone has recommendations for swappable seats, moon wheels, or specific steering wheels please let me know.

    Thanks

    Eric

P.S. It was a good feeling while walking through the two local pick a parts to see 10 Nissan, Mazda, and Mitsu pickups for every one Yota.

    Hey Eric,
Welcome to the site!!! I have a 93 GT 5.0L and my truck is my main driver.

What's your budget regarding seats? I have Recaro's and the Flofits & Corbeau's are nice too. You can always find another Toyota and use the bucket seats. The Grant GT is a very, very common steering wheel, so that's why I went with a Formula France. They are discontinued, but you may find one in one of the auction houses or got to a VW Bug car show. Take a look at some of my photos in the gallery for reference.

As far as wheels, I'll stick to the 15". Are you planning on lowering the truck at all?

    Have fun with your project!

    Rick

well I like the idea of bucket seats but dont' want to buy new and don't have a welder to fab brackets. What sort of seats fit with a minimum of fab? Along the lines of bending metal and maybe drilling holes.

    Thanks

My bro and i had an 82 pickup and we went to a pick and pull and got some 96 acura seats (comfortable, yet firm... ). Anyway, they lined right up with the front holes nice and easy, and all we had to do for the rear was bend some steel and drill it out, and add some hardware, boom sweet seats! :D

but.... this 82 was an SR5 and had stock buckets. so i dont know exactly what you're looking at, but picknpull is great, just go to your truck, measure and check. Good luck.

welcome to the site! good to see that you have some pics up haha
i'm runing some buckets from a 96-00 bodystyle civic. not too much modification. i've heard that acura integra seats work well too. of not, some sr5 buckets of 4runner seats would work just fine.
