Ive asked this question before but need more detail. My dashboard lightbulbs are all burnt out , except one on my 93 pickup, To replace with new bulbs , I was told you remove instrument cluster, how do you do that ? Do you take apart the panels around the steering wheel area to gain access ? Does the cluster have screws to take out ? Please explain.........

2nd both of these ideas above. Just get in there and get your hands dirty. Start taking stuff apart intill you get it out. Ok grab a 6 or 12 pak of your choice and go to town. Best way to learn more and how stuff is put together on our trucks.

I found these dashes to be far easier than most dashes I've taken apart. I did a quick scan over the whole dash to find any screws I could locate, started pulling them out and taking note of where they went. I then started just pulling, anyplace that starts to snag, do I quick check to see if you can see any screws in that area, if not it's just a clip that needs to be popped out of it's housing with a nice little tug!

Come on guys, we aren't flamers here.

Yes, the advance search will narrow down potential threads if there are too many.
