I built a 94 previously in high school daily drove and drag raced it for years, crashed it and now I’m in the process of building another one. Here’s some pics of my OG build 22r LCEngineering stage 3 motor Dual side draft 44Mikunis 8”rear end locked with 4:88 gears Center force dual friction Also had A/C that would get down to 20 degrees
Body work is finally finished! Got the truck all masked and is ready for paint. Gonna do the epoxy sealer it my garage then transfer to a paint booth down the road
Tackling the interior today, took the ugly faded interior from the black truck and swaped the interior from my old white truck into this one.
Got the marlin crawler clutch in yes I know it’s for rock crawling but it’s made for big tires and pieced together with all japan spec parts. Also got the motor in finally!
Truck is dropped and on the ground. For some reason it’s not letting me upload pictures. But installed my “8 rear axle and 4:11 gears, got the 3” belltech drop leafs in 2” blocks and belltech nitro drop shocks for the rear. The front I did a torsion rekey and top and bottom ball joint flip. And matching front shocks. Also got around to putting low profile bump stops on all four corners.
No, I have the custom tacos low profile bump stops. originally I had 3” blocks with belltech springs and it was practically sitting on the axle. But with the 2” blocks I have at least 6” of travel before hitting the bump stops now.
whaaaat? the 92s must be drastically different from previous gens. My 86 is on just springs, and I have only 5 inches from axle to frame, so like 3 1/2 to the cut down bump stops.
The truck is back on the road again! I forgot how much I miss driving a little mini and sidedrafts hard to keep your feet off the gas after every stop lol! Next is some murdered out tint and swap out sounds
