Has anyone running these had any problems with them and I take it the install is plug and play? Really want a set but thought I'd ask before Getting some.

I was looking at the same lights, but then I got a nice set of tails from eurofreak.

Those are the ones I'm thinking about. I know people like them but they never talk about the install or follow up if there were in issues with them. Guess I'm just going to have to order a set.

i *think* it's plug in play.

I did get a set of the black altezza ones and i did have to grind the bottom mounting bracket a sliver to get it to fit. I have tested the electronics of it because my battery is dead. I just work on it as it sits there.

IF they are a legit company (read feedback for similar items) it should be direct plug in. If not and they are a cheaper knockoff company then you will have to disassemble all 3 sockets from current tail lights to go into the sockets of new ones. As far as fitment is concerned DionTDE is the only person Ive heard of having issues. Ive sold tons of altezzas for numerous cars and have never had a problem unless they were LED or bare shell lights.

Yeah i was surprised to see that they did not fit. They fit now and have no problem pulling out a grinder for something like this. I probably could have done it with my dremel too.

i have had mine a few months now and no issues so far.
now if i had stock besides they probably would have gone right in but i had do to some grinding and fine tuning but they ended up coming out great. as for the wiring, they are plug and play with the factory harness.

Are they fading? I had some aftermarket lenses that looked OEM on my old Land Cruiser and they faded rather quickly.

My OEM lenses on my '89 Pickup are fading and cloudy now, was thinking of getting just the clear and red lenses on eBay to replace the lenses only.

i had the clear and red ones for about 8 months before they tuned to this
    [IMG]
they continued to get worse and ended up with the clear being a yellowish color and the red a pinkish orange color.

Yeah thats what I was afraid of. I have some of the DEPO LED tails on our current Land Cruiser and they have held up really well. But the price difference is huge and I dont like the circle light of the LED option for our trucks.
