Fairly new here, just picked up an 88 in decent shape. Wondering if someone could give me the lowdown on lowering/wheel/tire size etc. Planning on going the 3 inch blocks route. Any advice would be appreciated.

Welcome. Clean looking truck. Where's that pic from? Looks a lot like the cabins near Fontana dam in N.C.

With 3 inch blocks you can do 2 or 3 inches up front. Quick and easy 2 inch drop would be to flip the BallJoint(search, there's a really good write up) and loosen torsion bars(also a write up).

Or you could do 2 inch spindles and add BJ flip for 3 inches.

Or DJM makes a 3 inch drop lower control arm.

If you want some awesome quality blocks check streetacos.com Just know they take 4+ weeks to get. Custom made.

Quick question, can you send me/post a close up pic of where the front lower valance mounts to the bumper on the corners? I have an 85 that I put an 87 one piece bumper on. Not exactly sure how to attach the valance. Curious if something is bent on my bumper. It's a remanufactured part.

Good luck with the mods, and again, welcome.
