'88 4X4 fenders

    Has anyone ever put '87-'88 4X4 fenders on a 1992 2wd? My sister needs fenders and I want to help her out and also I wouldn't mind changing the look of our fleet of Toyotas hehehe:eek:

    there not even close to fitting right, and 2wd fenders are cheap, look around call a couple junk yards... post on the internet for some, guys replace them for 4wd fenders all the time, I gave my stock 2wd fenders away...

    :confused: . . . Ummm, your joking right ? The body fabrication alone to come halfway to matching would be expensive. I hoping you were joking or asking just to be curious and NOT REALLY knowing that much about Toyotas. Not trying to be rude, but, it would be easier to find replacements for her GEN. than to do this swap, even for an experienced fabricator this would be a PITA. . .

    buy the right year 4x4 fenders at discount auto for 60 bucks and they are brand new perfect thats where I got mine... 89 thru 94 will work

    Thanks anyway for the info. It seems like it would be too much work. I hope my sister buys herself another Yota so I can have her 1993 2wd for parts on my 1992 2wd...
