This is a build thread, you will have better luck seeing if you can have this moved to the proper section.

Im just going to ask a question in response to yours...
But if I made a rear disk conversion kit, what are your requrements?

    Vented/non-vented rotors?
    Ebrake/non ebrake?
    14in wheel clearance? 15? 16?
    G code? F code rear?

I could make a setup fairly easily if I set my mind to it. Its just I see alot of these types of threads and see a need.

On a different note. Do you NEED rear disc brakes? The 10 or 11in rear drums work pretty good on the back of a light toyota. All the stopping power is in the front, and that is where the upgrade needs to be done first.

Big enough for nasty mustangs, should be fine on a toyota.

I've been running a disc brake conversion on my 2WD for probably close to 10 years now. I originally contacted TSM MFG. CO., INC. about just purchasing the brackets for the Toyota truck conversion because his kit was 6 lug and I have 5 lugs. I eventually was too cheap and just copied his design. I run a mid 80s lincoln continental or mark VIII 11" rear rotor and a mid 70's rear Cadillac caliper. You'll need 15" or larger wheels. Sorry I don't have pics because I just didn't think of that stuff at that time.

I do have to agree with Rafaelli. I don't really think they were needed at all, but they sure do look alot cooler than drums...

Oh yea, I had to get custom e-brake cables also. Got them from here http://store.controlcables.com/servlet/StoreFront

Are you talking to me? No I never sold them. I kinda have a reservation about selling parts like that. Don't want to be liable for any thing happening.
