So like I had said earlier I was going to buy a new truck only thing is I have found two and cant decide. one is an 87 22RE all is fine just needs fuel pump. other is an 86 22RET and sounds awesome. here are the post... bith on craigslist... 1987 Toyota pickup 5 speed 4cyl good running engine before the fuel pump went. has rocker rust and a little bubbleing on the bed but not bad overall **NEEDS FUEL PUMP AND FUEL LINE TO BE ROADWORTHY** this is why im asking $500 or trades for toyota parts and cash i need doors and a steering column with key for 89+ toyota pickup or would take trades for other motorized stuff, electronics or firearms... I was able to talk this guy down to 350 I am posting a 1986 toyota pickup 4x2, 4 cylinder. 93,000 miles. I just had the inspection done this year, truck is good until 2010. I bought this truck earlier in the year from the original owner. I replaced front upper and lower control arms and brakes. Also has Aluminum rims from a 87 turbo. The truck is mechanically running great, the body has typical toyota rust. It also has a truck cap. The only reason why I need to get rid of it is cause I moved in with my girlfriend and I can only have one car. Give me an offer I really need to get rid of this truck. Anyone who has email please be patient I will respond back. The guy also wote this.....Hi Alex The truck is a very unique truck in that it is a four banger with turbo, overdrive, and switches which keep in a lower gear if you are pulling a boat, etc. The machanicals are in good shape, the frame has considerable rust but has had some work done on it. The pickup box is a replacement and is aluminum. ...This guy is asking for 500 Both are sick buys in my thoughts but i just cant decide... asked my friend he says buy both... any thoughts or remarks would help guys... thanx
