I thought I would start a build up thread for my 86.. I'm going to start hacking away at it soon...

I'll start off with a picture of my dash.. ripped it off of a corvair.. I just have it laying on top.. just wanted to see how it would fit.. what do you guys think?

You've got the column shift? That would go great with the old-school dash!

Gonna keep the OE steering wheel? I'm not planning on doing so. Horn buttons are in a very akward spot. I've got the manual steering and I don't know how many times I've been flipped off accidentally hitting the horn.

no, i'm not gonna keep the OE steering wheel... I never did like the steering wheel.. we'll see what I can come with.. haha.. that horn is week too..

and yeah.. I like the column shift.. it should look good with the dash.

Just under the wrong section. I have accidentally clicked in the 89+ section a few times trying to see more about 84-88s. Common mistake.

 

how do I delete and start one in the right section?

 

No Idea... I've only been here a month tomorrow. You could just start over in our years. I'll even repost everything I've typed.
