hey guys i bought my truck off my dad just before he passed away to have something in memory of him. It was a trayback and was fairly rough so i started with 4x4 guards and removed the tray waiting for a 4x4 tub
after lookin here in Aust for months i finally found a 4x4 tub and it only cost $50 but it was in Brissy so also cost $350 for freight, so i fully shaved the sides, fuel filler, tailgate and frenched the number plate.
i then thought it was time for the doors to be shaved and the body be all straightened up and primed.
paint is on its way after lookin at thousands of colours because i wanted something that would be easey to match.
put a start to the interior by having the crashpad, hood lining, doortrims, inner door handles, cluster surround, and original bench seat recovered in a straw coloured vinyl. what could not be covered was all sprayed in 2pac
now to the lowering side of it and the choice of wheels, this is what im up to now so ill keep you updated on the build. heres a pic of the wheels and it being bagged in photo shop. It was only a quick chop.
Hey i like it! I'm building my dad's 86 as well (see sig), also its interesting to hear what you call the different components of your truck, crash pad, tray, etc. I like the diversity, anyways nice start!
