Hey, I have a quick question, my front end has been bent for a while now and I'm wanting to put on an 85 4x4 valance on my 88. Is it possible to put one on with the stock 88 4x4 brackets or do I need to get 85's? either way, I'm going to need to get new ones to fix my front end.

Reason I ask is because the brackets look different

I know that this is the same 4Runner, but its owner swapped chassis and bumpers from an 86 with an 85

If you look closely at the brackets, you'll see that they are different. (not trying to sound rude:))

I am just hoping that if I get 86-88 brackets that this will work. Otherwise I guess 84-85s are in order.

full chassis swap... I added 4runner on the url by mistake, but here's his album on the swap...

crap. I looked at the pictures and the quality on them here is crap. On his website, you click on them and it'll zoom in close enough to see the bracket difference.
