That is excellent, I just found a UPull yard that has a 92 4Runner, and only charges $25 for each caliper. Know off hand the bolt sizes used for packing my travel bag?

Also, is there any changes in the wheel offset with the new hats and rotors installed?

Take a 17mm, 15mm, 14mm,12mm and a 10mm and your fine... I would bring an extention or two and a breaker bar....

the caliper bolts are 17mm I think...
there are brackets bolts that are 12mm I think.
Don't forget some pliers and such... ya never know...

    good luck!

the rotor hat thickness is added to the track width, about 6-10mm total 3-5 each side... minimal.... I run a 17x8 with 12mm offset and have plenty of room... I have no drop either tho... I think they would still tuck on a static drop...

Are there any rotors that would work that mount on the back of the hub like stock? That is the only way these would work on my setup.

You would need to find one... it would have to have a shallow hat offset that places the rotor about 2 inches behind the hub face.
They would also need to be 12.19 inches in diameter....

I wanted to find something like that but it's so hard to get rotor dimensions from existing vehicles... the sellers/manufacturers always sell them by what they fit not what their sizes are....

Then I'm going to have to wait and find the right rotors before ordering. Hope that you understand. Once I do find the right rotors, I will be in touch again.

did you make any changes to the design to address the small problems you had with the first set of stands you made?

I got an update from the machine shop. It should be no problem selling this order of stands for $75 shipped.

I have ten pairs coming, and about 3-4 already sold. If you want a set paypal me the full payment and I will ship em to you as soon as I get them, or a $10 deposit to reserve at set to [email protected].

Brake pad overhang and spindle-caliper interference.

The pad overhang can't be fixed without modifying the pads or changing to the wilwood caliper. The spindle/caliper interference isn't an issue if you own a grinder, you only have to remove an eighth of an inch or less of material. The only way to change that is to find an even bigger rotor. With the current rotor you would end up with even more pad overhang if you moved the caliper out to clear the spindle.
To me it is worth it to deal with these minor issues to keep using Toyota parts. I get lots of comments at shows about the setup. People appreciate it (especially toyota guys), Everyone at these shows run wilwoods, Brembos, you name it, but a big brake setup that is factory and stops just as good? They like it.

I just remember MTB68TOY saying he was going to try to correct these minor things if he was to make another batch of the stands, that's all.
