Hello all. Just picked up an 80 pickup about a month back for a a gas saver/project truck. I originally have an 08 tacoma but I miss having a mini truck. Used to have a 96 tacoma but had to sell it. So this 80 is ganna be a bunch of fun

Thank you for now im thinking of lowering it a couple inches. I was thinking about wheels and tires but im kinda diggin the stock ones after painting them. Then down the road id like to do a motor swap. Im thinkin the 5VZ motor from the earlier tacomas. No paintjob for this baby tho going to keep the original blue. Itll be a slow process but hey thats what projects are for. Im just glad its a runner!
I love patina trucks. I can't wait to put my stockies back on. I too just painted mine not long ago but they need new tires so that's why they aren't on.
Haha yea ill definitely at least be getting tires for these wheels. These ones have good tread but theyre still cracked on the sidewalls and definitely not wide enough ill keep the pics updated for sure
