Hey guys! Last week I bought a 78 pickup. Runs great. Previous owner was a mechanic and rebuilt the carb, replaced the water pump, alternator, and radiator. It's a Cali truck so there's zero rust on it. Trying to drive it at much as possible before I put it away for winter. I'm new to Toyotas and it's been about a decade since I drove a carbureted car. Current daily is an 05 Legacy gt wagon. Short term plans are to lower it and maybe get some new wheels. Long term maybe an engine swap or at least a 5spd swap for better highway cruising.
Thanks! Looks better at 15ft than 5ft, but overall it's got a nice patina with some clear coat peeling. Inside isn't bad, somewhat typical of what you'd expect from a 40yr old truck with 200k miles. The seam of the seat split on the driver's side, the shifter knob and pedals are worn down, dash is cracked. Nothing terrible
