Good People of TM -- I finally got this beast to to turn over and start! It was going to the smelter to become slag, and I saved off the flatbed. It didn't have an engine nor fenders or lots of other things. Put another 20R engine in it. After finally working the wire harness, I finally got the old beast to turn over and sustain for a f seconds via starter fluid. Now the problem is the carbuerator. It's not stock. It's a Weber two-barrel. When the gas comes in from the fuel filter an into the carb,it literally floods to the point of filling both barrels and spilling out I know it's an issue in the carb, but where and how to address? Some people tell me to clean it out, which I did. Still the problem persists. Aside from replacing the Weber ( Can a Weber even work on a 20R?) with a stock carb, what can I do? Many thanks!his project has taught me much about cars and dealing with frustration.
