Timing chain on the 73 snapped.

    Is this easy to fix?

I've started to take off the timing chain cover, but still ne a harmonic balanver puller to get the pulley off.

After that, I'm not sure what to do.
I know I have to set the timing to TDC.
    Adjust the tensioner.

Should I replace both chains and all gears ( $115 )
Or just the one chain ( $12 )

    Any thoughts?

This is the truck I grew up in since 1973.
Everyone always told me to junk it.
    Nope!
    This is a prized possession!

Just pulled the timing pulley off.
And got the timing chain cover off.

But the teeth on the gear look a little chipped.
Also the chain guide was worn and broke off.

    Will post pics.
    Thoughts and comments appreciated.
