While cutting a rust hole from my floor pan in my 73 Hilux on the driver's side, I accidentally cut a hard line and I have no idea where the hell it goes. When I initially cut it, there was no fluid in it and did not smell like gasoline, so I am assuming its not the fuel line. My 73 has a 20r swapped in it, and the fuel filter and fuel pump are on the passenger side, and seem to run down the passenger side as well.

The line I cut runs into the frame near the radiator, and runs the length of the truck down towards the gas tank. I do plan on replacing this line regardless (as I already bought a a hard line flaring tool), but does anyone know where the hell it goes or what it carries? Could it be the original 18r fuel line? Something else?

Send me -- or post --- a picture.
I'll look on my '73 and see if it matches.

IIRC there are 3 lines, 1. fuel 2. vent tube back to tank 3. brake line if there was no fuel or brake fluid i would say vent tube

    Awesome! Thanks for that info.

Do I need to replace this tube since I cut it? I'm running a Weber 32/36 Can't I don't see where this vent tube attaches to.

    Thanks!
