71 lux with the 8rc engine. I got a custom adapter plate machined so I could install a Holley 2 barrel carb since the original wouldn't work even after we rebuilt it, it still needed parts I couldn't find. I replaced all the hoses, belt, cap, rotor, coil, plugs, wires, starter, etc. The engine runs strong but the clutch is slipping so I will put a new one I purchased soon. I have a cb radio with a pa speaker so I can have some fun with people. I recently purchased a 6 Gauge Dolphin set and will be installing them into a custom made gauge besel from a 100 year old Ash tree we milled from my parents house in Bucks County Pennsylvania along with other interior pieces. I plan on installing a sliding ragtop and power rear window. I have an autoloc power window kit along with poppers, door solenoids, one touch up/down window module to install with my friend James who handles all the wiring and has installed a new GM wiring harness that he is working on finishing. The previous owner re-upholstered the stock bench seat and I want to leave it for the old school look, although I would rather have bucket seats but they just wont fit the look I am going for. I ordered the BFG 185/70/14 Silvertown big white wall tires and they are what I call my "bling" on the truck. I was lucky enough to find the stock hubcaps I wanted on ebay but I haven't found an easy way to attach them yet. I have shaved; the door handles, locks, emblem holes, antenna, mirror holes, turn signals, 6 bed seams, bed holes, pillar vents, reflectors and will do the hood squirters next. Once I extend the bed sides and roll pan to match the cab height I will paint it satin maroon and put my garage logo back on the door. I am going to paint the upper and lower grill body color and make a custom lower front valence that is lower. I plan on smoothing out the front bumper, shaving the license plate indentation and making it a one piece instead of 3 piece. I had the leaf springs de-arched along with 3" lowering blocks for a 5.5-6" drop in the rear and the previous owner heated the coils to lower the front about 3-4". I put on hot rod peep mirrors and had the logo distresed on the doors because I want it to look like an old shop truck. I custom made the lake pipe by welding some pre-bent sections together, putting a motorcycle baffle in the end with a chrome angled tip and wrapped it with exhaust wrap. I plan on putting a ford 8 cylinder flat head in it if its feasible and an air suspension with a 4link. When the truck arrived from Oklahoma it had a cracked windshield the seller didn't mention, I found a windshield pretty fast, but finding a rubber molding and or someone to install it has been a nightmare. I was told a 73-78 would fit if I turn it upside down since the curve is opposite on the trucks top vs. bottom. I just found one of those so we'll see what happens. I drove it without inspection for 3 or 4 months because of the cracked windshield but at least I put 4 or 500 miles on it and took it to a few shows before I got my ticket. Now I have to wait for the windshield install, gauges install, back up lights, turn signals and hazards to be done along with the wiring harness completion so I can get it inspected and ready for the spring. I look forward to future shows and driving it as much as possible. I plan on performing the air suspesion and engine swap in the winters so I can keep it on the road in the nicer months. Moffett
