I'm thinkin of swapping my reg cab truck for a 4runner body. I wanna keep my 4cyl because it only has 85000 og miles. But I wanna know how I could register it with the 4cyl I'm in Cali by the way

 

just swap your old vin/title to the new body ........


.... and dont tell anyone that you swaped it and you will be fine

Put the truck vin onto the 4runner and your done. Besides the 4runners came with the 4cyl engine too. Or swap the body and say u just swapped the engine to the 4cyl.

 

I was thinkin of just sayin I swapped the motor an going to San Andreas to register it after it's smogged. I've been lookin into it for the last few days heavily but nothin of real interest has popped up mostly just ppl askin about it. I need to find the donor runner still. Didn't want to swap vins because I'm sellin the cab an title to a buddy

Thts why I was gonna go up to the next county an do my paperwork and stuff up there because it's not in a city an more country so I doubt they'd care but before I do it I'll call DMV maybe. I wouldn't have a problem takin it to get BARd cause all the smog stuff will be there an on. But if I can get away without doing tht it's a plus
