Nothing. 3 wires. I used a test light to find which was which. I think the low beam was the middle one on both the old and new plug. Then one side is 12V+ and the other is the brights. It switches ground if I remember correctly. Also if you need connectors for the new bulbs they are $5-$8 at most auto parts stores.

Got this from another site...Hope it helps..

Modifiedlife.com.. I found this site today when I was looking for some wiring diagrams for installing an aftermarket CD player in my roomate's BMW.. It has wiring diagrams for alarms, audio and some other resources. If it doesn't have an actual full wiring diagram that you can follow each and every wire from beginning to end, it will at least give you the color wiring for what they are, which can be pretty helpful. Just thought I would share it, can't promise it will have everything you need for every vehicle.. but still seems like a great resource.

Gotta use plugs for the 4 runner. But they are just generic 9004 bulbs sockets. I bought mine at Napa.

The plugs were like $6 a piece. You could just hook the high beam wire for the 4runner lights to the low beam power wire. Don't hook both up you'll burn up something probably.
