    I'm shopping for a 4" lift kit for my 1990 pickup 4x4 V6.

Anyone have opinions on lift kits? I did try a search.

Skyjacker kit looks pretty complete with springs, A-arms, shocks, etc.

    thanks!

What's your budget? And what are you looking to do with it?

yeah, good questions. I like quality parts, so budget is not #1. I put Warn bumpers front and rear, to give you an idea. The Skyjacker kit with springs is about $1300.

I will do light offroading, not too technical (have never gone rock crawling or anything like that). Also want to move up a tire size, I have 31" now.

I admit I want to toughen up the look, and the rear leaves and shocks are shot anyway, so why not upgrade.

    sorry I'm a NOOB.

    What is "SFA"?

and I looked at Total Chaos kits, don't they widen the track? I don't want to do that on my shop truck, it's a daily driver.

Also, what about Old Man kits?

search on yotatech.com. its mainly 4x4s and offraod trucks. they will be able to tell you what is good and bad about each kit out there.
