4.30 one ton axle swap!!!!!

    So I'm happy with my axle swap I had a 3.07 8.inch axle nd swapped to a 4.30 8inch one ton axle nd I love it it pulls hard in any gear only thing 1rst gear is useless nd with the w58 transmission nd lightweight flywheel it revs fast nd quick I can actually use fifth gear doing 30 without boggin the engine only problem I have is the sppeedometer is off by like 15 mph if I'm doin 50 the speedometer reads 65 nd stuff what can I do to fix it I think the w58 I got from a celica had 3.75 gears don't member nd whhels are 205/50/16 thanks any help appreciated

    So today I got to stretch the. 4.30 gears on the 10 freeway nd holy **** I went 120.2mph gps verified!!!!!!the speedeometer was buried like crazy I really love diz gear ratio!!!!lol crazy how much 77 horsepower takes u cheers to the 22r!!!! Lol

    Match the tire size and gearing i think

    My speedo is off too since I put smaller tires on

    I'm running 205/50/16 tires stock tire size I think was 195/65/14 or sum

    hm ok that makes sense. When I had my 410 I hated it on the freeway, sounded like my motor was gonna blow up. Im running a 205/40/17. My tires are like a half inch shorter then yours.

    Yea I wanted to run a taller tire bt I have a 2inch drop plus middle spring removed nd my 16x8 starions stick out nd I don't want to rub it on the bed wheel openings u get me

    Yep, i get cha. I got 17 inch 300c steelies they fit nice. They are starting to rust like the rest of my truck. It looked werid with shiny rim on rusty truck, now they are starting to match lol.
