Greetings from the Great White North, eh... Working on a V6 4x4 3rd/4th gen project. I'll be looking for some advice.... this will be my 4th Toyota truck. I've owned the following Toyota vehicles: 1986 4x4 Xtra Cab (4 cyl - 22RE/STD) 1997 4x4 Tacoma Xtd Cab (6 cyl - 5VZE/STD) 2007 4x4 Tundra Double Cab (8 cyl - 5.7L/AT) And this one... well.... I have two chassis: 1988 4x4 Xtd Cab (6cyl - 3VZE/AT) Rotten Frame & Box (cab too but repairable) 1990 4x4 Xtd Cab (6cyl - 3VZE/STD) Mint Frame, Rotten Box & Cab, No engine or transmission. Good chunk of the interior is missing and rear/side windows. Steering column and wheel missing. I think you can see where I'm going with this build.... I'll post more in the main forums.
Thanks, everyone. I might add... we currently own: 1998 Toyota Sienna LE (3.0L/V6) 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid (My current daily driver) Yes..... I am a Toyota Man! Right now... I'm specifically trying to find out if anyone has successfully mounted a 3rd gen (4x4 xtra) cab to a 4th gen (4x4 xtra) frame.
