2rz head on 22re block

    i was doing some research on engine swaps, an i read that 2rz heads bolt rite up to a 22re block....is this true

    No.

    20R heads can bolt to 22R blocks. Thats what I have. But there are no twin cam heads that will fit the 22R.

    I think the headbolts have a different spacing.

    actually, your wrong wey, when i had my 2rz apart, the head would fit fine on that lazer block in my backyard... i thought it was cool, but i doubt anyone makes a front cover and chain for it... plus it would be weird as fawk to time it...
