2L/2L-T Diesel conversion.

    74 short bed, gnarly tired Hilux
    This may not be the best site to ask but anyone have any insight on converting a 73 (or similar engine mount HiLux) to a 2L or 2L-T diesel?

    Been reading Toyota Diesel Madness but i haven't found much about dropping a diesel into a early hilux.

    Seems like you need to change the transmission bell housing but what other modification need to be made?

    1991 xcab 2wd 4cyl
    Might aswell change to a newer Toyota trany like the 84-95.5s. Because those are a direct bolt on to the 2L/2LT.
